Diversity of Gifts
We have diverse gifts according to the grace that is given to us…
– Romans 12:6a
As believers in Jesus Christ, every gift we give and receive is a reminder of the gift of God’s Son.
The Lord has poured out His abundant blessing upon us like an open faucet. He is our source of strength, health and vitality. He brings prosperity, joy, peace and security.
God has given us a variety of gifts to perfect the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit distributes God’s gifts so that His people are blessed. The gifts that are given by the Holy Spirit include wisdom, knowledge, faith, healings, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues. These are all distributed by God’s Spirit for the good of the body.
We serve a God who delights in giving gifts to those who serve Him. That is why you can always be sure that the good things in your life come from the Lord. He loves you with an everlasting love.
I praise You, Giver of life, and thank You for every good and perfect gift today and every day!
